St. Joseph Parish was founded in 1904 in South Jamaica, Queens. The church was built in 1907 by Polish migrants. Currently, the parish includes members from over 50 countries, including the Caribbean, Latin America, Asia, West Africa, and Poland.

History
The parish was established by the Polish community in 1904. The first Mass took place on September 1, 1904. The church was consecrated in 1907 and can accommodate 452 people.
