Holy Rosary Church

About the Parish

Holy Rosary Church, also known as the Diocesan Shrine of Saint John Paul II, was founded in 1918 to serve Polish immigrants in Passaic, NJ. This church is a place of worship for the Polish and English-speaking community, offering holy masses, confession, and various services.

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00, 19:00
• Friday: 7:00, 19:00
• Saturday: 17:00 (Vigil Mass)

History

The parish was established in response to the needs of the growing community of Polish immigrants who came to Passaic in search of better living conditions. The first pastor was Father Stanisław Kruczek, who initiated the construction of the church and parish school.
