St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, located at 109 York Avenue, Staten Island, NY, was established in 1923 to serve the Polish-American community. The church was built with the efforts of Polish immigrants who wanted a place to worship in their native language. The cornerstone was laid in 1923, and the church was consecrated in 1924.

History
The parish was founded by Fr. John A. Gloss, who organized many groups and associations, including the League of the Sacred Heart, St. Cecilia's Choir, and the Sodality of Children of Mary. In 1929, a parish school was established, which operated until 1939.
