Orthodontic Practice in Midtown Manhattan - Orthodontic Assistant

Orthodontic practice in Midtown Manhattan limited to orthodontics for children and adults. This is a part-time, in-office role for an orthodontic assistant based in New York, NY. The orthodontic assistant will be responsible for:

• chairside support for the orthodontist during procedures
• preparing patients for procedures
• taking intraoral/extroral photos and Itero scans
• assisting with sterilization of instruments and equipment.
  Additional duties include:
• educating patients about oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• managing and organizing patient documentation
• ensuring a clean and safe clinical environment.
  Requirements:
• proficiency in orthodontic terminology and dental care
• experience in sterilization and maintaining cleanliness in the clinic
• skills in dental assisting and chairside support
• strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients
• organizational skills to manage patient documentation and appointments
• knowledge of safety procedures and infection control.
