• We do not use tracking for marketing purposes. We use Google Analytics only for anonymous visit statistics — and only with your consent given in the cookie banner (see section 18)
• We do not send unsolicited marketing messages
• We provide encrypted communications and secure data storage

• Expired classifieds are deleted after 90 days
• Security logs are kept for 12 months
• Transaction data is kept per tax requirements (typically 7 years)
• After account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days (except legally required data)

informacja.com is not intended for persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Processing by Artificial Intelligence (AI)

informacja.com uses external AI services for:

• Translating guides Polish ↔ English — OpenAI service (gpt-4o-mini model)
• Enriching event and classified content — OpenAI service
• Extracting data from event posters (OCR + image analysis) — OpenAI Vision
• News summarization in the /news section — Perplexity AI
• Local AI models (Bielik, Mistral, Phi) on a partner server

What data is sent to AI:

• Guide content (public only, no personal data)
• Classified or event text you post (when enrichment feature enabled)
• Event poster images (when you upload)
• Public news content for summarization

What we DO NOT send to AI:

• Passwords, login credentials
• Private messages between users
• Financial or payment data
• Email addresses, phone numbers
• Admin panel content outside AI intent

OpenAI and Perplexity are bound by Data Processing Agreements. Data passed for translations is not used to train models (per OpenAI API policy since 2023).

All AI calls are logged in our database (usage statistics + costs), but logs do not contain user personal data.

12. Alert System (Saved Searches)

The Service offers an email alert system — you can save search criteria (e.g., "apartments in Brooklyn", "Polish community events") and receive notifications when new matching entries appear.

Data we collect

• Your email address
• Search criteria (keyword, category, city, state)
• Alert frequency (daily / weekly / instant)
• IP address at signup (anti-abuse)
• Signup and confirmation timestamps

How alerts work

• Double opt-in required — we send a confirmation email with link
• Every alert email contains an instant unsubscribe link
• Manage all alerts via "My Notifications" panel
• Cron checks new entries every few minutes and sends notifications
• We log sent notifications (audit purposes)

Security

• Confirmation tokens are single-use with limited validity (7 days)
• Unsubscribe tokens are permanent — you can unsubscribe anytime
• Anti-enumeration: we never reveal whether a specific email is subscribed

You may subscribe to our informational newsletter:

• Periodic summaries of important news, new guides, events
• Double opt-in required
• Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link
• Manage subscription at My Notifications
• We do not share subscriber lists with any third party

• Right to Non-Discrimination — exercising CCPA rights does not result in worse treatment

We will respond within 45 days (with possible extension of another 45 days with notice).

15. Children Under 13 — COPPA

In accordance with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

• informacja.com is not intended for persons under 13
• We do not knowingly collect personal data from persons under 13
• Account requires age 18+ (or parent/guardian consent)
• If we discover a person under 13 has created an account, we will delete it immediately

Parents/guardians suspecting their child under 13 provided us data, please contact: prywatnosc@informacja.com. We will delete data within 7 days.

16. Google Analytics

informacja.com uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — an analytics service provided by Google LLC — to collect anonymous visit statistics (user count, popular pages, traffic sources).

Google Analytics loads ONLY if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you choose "Essential only", GA will not load and no analytics data will be sent to Google.

• IP anonymization (anonymize_ip: true) — Google masks the last octet of your IP before any storage
• No Google Ads / Display Network
• No User-ID — your informacja.com account is not linked to GA data
• No Demographics & Interests — disabled
• No cross-domain tracking

• Masked IP address
• Device type, OS, browser, screen resolution
• Approximate location (country/city from IP)
• Pages visited, visit duration, traffic source (referrer)
• Aggregated events (click, scroll, video play)
